River Valley Pony Club would like to thank the families and landowners of the Collinsville Equestrian Trail Association (CETA) and the North Pacolet Association (NPA) for permitting the Club to host our annual Hunter Pace and Trail Ride on your beautiful trails. And, thank you in advance to our participants. The support of our community for this event will allow River Valley Pony Club to carry on the Mission of the United States Pony Club within our community, “The mission of the United States Pony Clubs is to provide a program for youth that teaches riding, mounted sports, and the care of horses and ponies, thereby developing responsibility, moral judgment, leadership, and self-confidence.

Location:CETA and NPA Trails ~ From I-26, Exit 1, turn towards
North Carolina. Hwy 14 will turn into Landrum Road.
Turn right onto Hickory Grove Church Road and travel to stop sign.
Turn left onto Collinsville Road. Proceed approximately 1.5 miles. John Weaver Road
will be on your right. To your left is a gate leading to our parking field.

Divisions: Field Hunter – to be ridden at a good, but safe hunting pace.
Hill Topper/Trail – to be ridden at a more moderate pace.

Awards: First through Sixth place ribbons in each division, points towards WCHP Series.

Attire: Casual. Protective headgear required or sign waiver.

Horse: Current negative Coggins within 12 months REQUIRED. No exceptions.

Entry Fee: $35 per horse and rider, includes BBQ meal.
$25 Children under 12 and Pony Clubbers with card, must be with an adult rider.

Meal: BBQ meal provided by Harry Denton Non-riders, meal is $10 per person.

Registration: On site or download form at WCHP website, complete and bring to registration desk
on day of ride. Parent or guardian must sign release for children.

Bake Sale: All proceeds from the Bake Sale will be presented to Foothills Humane Society.

Silent Auction: Many thanks to our supporters for their Silent Auction donations. A portion of the
Silent Auction’s proceeds will benefit Polk Equine Emergency Rescue. Tryon Equine
Hospital has guaranteed to match RVPC’s donation on this date! Thank you!

RVPC is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Bake Sale, during this event. Proceeds from our Bake Sale will be donated to the Foothills Humane Society. The Foothills Humane Society has accepted an invitation to be in attendance on this date -- Perhaps, they will have some visitors....

One of our C members, Emily, is putting the final touches on our event flyer. Once complete, we will post the flyer and registration paperwork on our website as well as the Western Carolina Hunter Pace Series' website.
